Anika Rose Moa, born on May 21, 1980, in Papakura, Auckland, New Zealand, is a
singer. She grew up in Christchurch and attended Hornby High School. In 1998,
Moa won the prize for most promising musician at the Smokefreerockquest music
competition, which led to her signing with Warner Music New Zealand and Atlantic
