Anika
Annika Henderson, known professionally as Anika, was born on February 6, 1987,
in Surrey, England. She is a British and German singer-songwriter, musician,
political journalist, and poet who grew up speaking English and German. Before
her singing career, Anika worked as a music promoter in Cardiff and a political
journalist for ESNA European Higher Education News in Berlin. Her breakthrough
came when she met producer Geoff Barrow, leading to the recording of her
