Angelica Garcia, born in Los Angeles, California, is an American
singer-songwriter. Raised in El Monte, she began her musical journey influenced
by her mother's career as a freestyle musician who performed under the mononym
Angelica and scored a top-40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with her cover of
"Angel Baby". Garcia studied creative writing at Cooperative Arts High School in
New Haven, Connecticut, before returning to Southern California to graduate from
