Angela Desveaux (contributor)
Angela Desveaux is a Candian singer-songwriter known for blending pop, rock, and
country influences. She initially performed with local country and folk bands in
Montreal after moving there from her birthplace. Her breakthrough came when she
met Howard Bilerman, a producer associated with Arcade Fire, who helped her
assemble a band and record her 2006 album Wandering Eyes. Desveaux's supporting
band includes Julie Doiron on guitar, Eric Digras on bass, and Gilles Castilloux
on drums. Her album Angela Desveaux & The Mighty Ship, was released in 2008.
