Andy Black
Andrew Dennis Biersack, known professionally as Andy Black, was born on December
26, 1990, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is an American singer and songwriter. At age
14, Biersack formed his first band, which eventually evolved into Black Veil
Brides. In September 2009, the band signed with StandBy Records and released
their debut album We Stitch These Wounds in July 2010, which sold around 11,000
copies in its first week and ranked at number 36 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
In May 2014, Biersack announced his solo project under the moniker Andy Black.
