Andrew Shore is an English operatic baritone who was born in 1952 in Oldham. He
studied at the University of Bristol, the Royal Northern College of Music, and
the London Opera Centre. Shore began his professional career with the ensemble
Opera For All, performing between 1977 and 1979. He subsequently joined Kent
Opera, where he interpreted buffo roles including Antonio in the opera “The
Marriage of Figaro” and Dr Bartolo in “The Barber of Seville”. With Opera North,
