Andrew Shapiro, born September 5, 1975, in New York, is an American composer and
songwriter. He graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and released his
debut EP Invisible Days in 2002, which was recognized by Performing Songwriter
magazine. From 2004 to 2013, Shapiro performed solo piano compositions at a
fast-food restaurant in downtown Manhattan, gaining media attention. His
