Andrew Pryce Jackman
Andrew Pryce Jackman, born 13 July 1946, was an English keyboardist, arranger,
and composer. He began his career in the 1964 rhythm‑and‑blues band the Selfs,
which merged with the Syn in 1965. After the Syn folded in 1967, Jackman
arranged orchestral parts for Peter Skellern, Rush, and Barclay James Harvest.
His most prominent work was arranging and conducting the 1976 Classic Rock album
with the London Symphony Orchestra, which peaked at number 3 on the UK charts in
1978. He also arranged for Yes, providing the orchestral part on Tormato (1978)
and worked on Steve Howe’s Element...
