Andrew Calhoun
Andrew Calhoun, born on November 30, 1957, in New Haven, Connecticut, is an
American folk singer‑songwriter whose career began after his mother introduced
him to guitar‑playing students, inspiring a path influenced by Kris
Kristofferson, Johnny Cash and Leonard Cohen. His first recorded work appeared
on the 1983 Water Street LP, followed by Gates of Love (1984) and Walk Me to the
War (1987) on Flying Fish Records, establishing his presence in the folk
