Ana Gabriel
Mexican singer Ana Gabriel has had a long and distinguished career during which
she has had hits in three distinctly different genres - Latin pop, rancheras and
rock en Españo. Her climb to stardom began after winning third place in the
prestigious OTI Festival performing an orchestral version of the pop ballad 'Ay
Amor'. The song topped the charts in Mexico and remained at number one for 14
consecutive weeks on Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks Chart.
