Born in Toronto, Canada, Amy Sky began writing songs at an early age. She took
lessons in piano, guitar, cello and recorder and progressed in her education
with a degree in music theory and composition. She began her music career as a
songwriter, landing a job as a staff writer at MCA Music Nashville. She held
subsequent positions at Warner-Chappell and EMI and penned songs for a whole
host of famous voices including Reba McEntire, Olivia Newton-John, Diana Ross
