Amy Rigby
Amy Rigby, born Amelia McMahon on January 27, 1959, in the Pittsburgh suburbs,
is an American singer-songwriter. She moved to New York City in 1976 and began
her music career playing with several local bands, including The Shams and Last
Roundup. Her solo debut came with Diary of a Mod Housewife in 1996, which
received critical acclaim from publications like The Village Voice. Rigby's
