Amon Düül is a German rock band formed in Leopoldstrasse, Munich, in 1967.
Initially part of the student movement of the 1960s, the band gained underground
popularity for their free-form musical improvisations. After a split within the
commune in September 1968, two distinct groups emerged, such as Amon Düül and
Amon Düül II. The latter, formed by members like Chris Karrer and Falk Rogner,
signed with the United Artists label. They released the album Psychedelic
