Amir Masdi
Amir Syazwan Masdi was born on 3 October 1996 in Malaysia and is a Malaysian
singer and actor. He rose to fame after winning the reality television
competition Akademi Fantasia in 2016, where he competed against 13 other
contestants before becoming the season’s champion. He later reached the Top 12
of AF Megastar (2017), a competition featuring former Akademi Fantasia finalists
and winners. He released the albums Amir Masdi (2023) and AM:PM (2024) and was
nominated for Popular Male Singer in 2023 and 2024 at the Berita Harian Popular
Star Awards.
