Amigos de Gines is a Spanish musical group formed in 1969 by Luis Baras, Carlos
Baras, Alfredo Santiago, and Juan Antonio Hurtado. The group gained early
recognition with their 1970 debut, which included the sevillanas "La vuelta del
camino" (also known as "Lloran los pinos del Coto"). This success established
them as a prominent fixture in the genre, leading to the release of their first
album later that same year. Known for incorporating social commentary into their
