Amaral
Amaral is a Spanish rock duo formed in Zaragoza in 1992 by Eva Amaral and Juan
Aguirre. The pair met in a local bar in 1992 and began performing in Zaragoza’s
underground scene, releasing their single "Rosita" in 1998 after signing with
Virgin. Their debut self‑titled album was released in 1998, followed by Una
pequeña parte del mundo (2000), Estrella de mar (2002) which earned an MTV
Europe Music Award for Best Spanish Act in 2002, and Pájaros en la cabeza (2005)
that sold over 900,000 copies worldwide. Subsequent releases include Gato
negro/Dragón rojo (2008), Hacia lo salvaje ...
