Alison Jiear
Alison Jiear, born 6 May 1965 in Australia, is a cabaret artist and musical
theatre performer. She trained as a singer at the Queensland Conservatorium of
Music and joined the Motown‑cover trio the Fabulous Singlettes, performing at
London’s Piccadilly Theatre in 1988. Her stage career expanded across the
West End, with roles in Shoes at Sadler’s Wells, On the Town with the English
National Opera, Hot Mikado, Jerry Springer: The Opera at the Royal National
Theatre, for which she received a 2004 Laurence Olivier Award nomination, and
