Alin Coen

Alin Coen was born in Hamburg in 1982. She is a German-Mexican singer and songwriter. In 2003, she began studying environmental engineering at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. There she met the musicians with whom she founded the Alin Coen Band in May 2007. The band consists of four musicians from Weimar and Hamburg. Musically, the group’s style ranges from pop to folk. In 2008, the Alin Coen Band participated in the German Music Council’s PopCamp. In late 2008, Alin Coen appeared on the Berlin-based internet music show TV Noir.
