Alih Jey
Alih Jey de Peña Jiménez, also known as Alih Jey, was born on May 5, 1984, in
Santo Domingo, and is a Dominican rock music singer and songwriter. Her career
began in her teens with songwriting that led to a contract with Universal Music
Latino at seventeen. Her debut album Alih Jey (2001) featured the single "It's
OK". In 2004, she released Gotas De Piel, with hits such as "Muñequita Tua" and
"Vino en Tu Bar". The album earned acclaim, and she toured with Paulina Rubio on
the Pau‑Latina tour. After parting with Universal in 2006, she released Necia in
