Alice Emily Russell, born on 1 March 1975 in Framlingham, Suffolk, England, is
an English soul singer. In the early 2000s she contributed to recordings by
artists including Bah Samba, Quantic, and TM Juke, before releasing her debut
album, Under the Munka Moon, in 2004, an amalgamation of singles, remixes, and
collaborations. Her debut studio album proper, My Favourite Letters, followed in
2005, and she continued to build her catalogue with Under the Munka Moon II
(2006) and Pot of Gold (2008). The remix collection Pot of Gold Remixes followed
in 2009, and she released Look Aroun...
