Ali Gatie is an Iraqi-Canadian R&B singer who was born in Aden, Yemen on 31 May
1997 and grew up in Mississauga, near Toronto, in Ontario, Canada. After
quitting university to pursue his musical dreams, he first garnered attention
when he showcased his tracks online and subsequently won an internet talent
show, RhymeStars, hosted by rapper Joe Budden. His 2018 singles "Can't Lie" and
