The Italian singer and rapper popularly known as Alfa was born Andrea De Filippi
in Genova on August 22, 2000. Hailing from the neighborhood of Quarto dei Mille,
he began his music studies at the age of 8, taking guitar and piano lessons.
During his teenage years, he participated in several freestyle battles in his
city and then made his debut in 2018 with the single “Dove sei?,” followed by
