Alexandra Căpitănescu

Alexandra Căpitănescu was born on 31 July 2003 in Galați, Romania, where she
grew up studying singing from age ten and taking piano lessons. She first
entered the public eye at 15 on Românii au talent, and after encouragement from
presenter Smiley, she appeared on Vocea României; at 19 she won season 11 of
that competition. In 2023 Alexandra Căpitănescu released the single "Nu Pot" and
followed it with "A ta" in June 2024, leading to her debut EP Căpitanu' on
5 April 2024 under Universal Music Romania. That same year she added the tracks
"Arde" (8 November 2024) and "De sărbători...
