Alejandro Manuel Palacio Zawady, born on June 5, 1985, in Santa Marta, Colombia, is a Colombian singer-songwriter and actor. He began guitar lessons at age eight and vocal training at age eleven under Judith Brassard. At age seventeen, he chose to pursue a music career and traveled to the United States, eventually moving to New York where he was recruited by Israel Romero to join the vallenato group Binomio de Oro de América.
