Aleandro Civai, also known as Aleandro Baldi, born on April 11, 1959, in Greve
in Chianti, Florence, Italy, is a singer-songwriter and composer. Blind from
birth, he began playing the guitar as an autodidact while attending the Reggio
Emilia College for the Blind. Baldi debuted at the Sanremo Music Festival in
1986 with "La nave va", ranking second in the "young people's section". He won
the New Proposals category again in 1992 with Francesca Alotta, performing "Non
