Aldemaro Romero, born on March 12, 1928 in Valencia, Venezuela, was a Venezuelan musician, composer, arranger, and conductor. After studying with his father, he moved to Caracas in 1942, performed in nightclubs, and toured Cuba and travelled to New York in 1949. In 1951 he joined RCA Victor, releasing the breakthrough Dinner In Caracas (1955) that launched his Dinner In… series. He followed with albums such as Criollísima (1957), El Garrasi (1959), La Onda Maxima (1972), and Onda Nueva / The New Wave (1974), collaborating with Dean Martin, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tito Puente and Stan Ke...
