Alastis
Alastis was a Swiss extreme metal band formed in 1987 in Sion, Valais. Initially
known as Fourth Reich, they changed their name to Alastis in 1989 and
transitioned from death metal to black metal. Their debut album, The Just Law,
was released in 1992 under Head Not Found Records. In 1995, Alastis signed with
Adipocere Records for their second album, ...And Death Smiled. The band's lineup
underwent several changes and they toured with Anathema and Theatre of Tragedy
