Alain Boublil is a French librettist and songwriter best known for his
collaborations with Claude-Michel Schönberg. In the 1960s, he began his career
writing songs for various artists while working with Vogue Records, including
work for Jean-François Michael. His breakthrough came in the early 1970s when he
