Al Campbell
Alphonso Campbell, known as Al Campbell, was born on August 31, 1954, in
Kingston, Jamaica. He began singing at his father's church and formed The
Thrillers with schoolmates, recording at Studio One in the late 1960s.
Campbell's breakthrough came with "Gee Baby" in 1975, a hit in Jamaica and the
