Aking
aKING is a South African melodic rock band formed in November 2007 in Bellville,
Cape Town. The group was established by Hunter Kennedy and Jaco Venter, with
members including Laudo Liebenberg, Hennie van Halen, and Andrew Davenport.
Their debut album, Dutch Courage (2008), was followed by Against All Odds
(2009). In 2009, they performed at the Oppikoppi Music Festival and Coke Zero
Fest. Subsequent releases include the EP In The Twilight (2009) and the albums
The Red Blooded Years (2011) and Morning After (2014).
