Airport 5
Airport 5 was an American musical collaboration project between indie rock
musicians Robert Pollard and Tobin Sprout, both members of Guided by Voices. The
project was built primarily through mail collaboration, with Sprout composing
and providing backing tracks while Pollard contributed lyrics and vocals. Active
in the early 2000s, they released two studio albums, Tower in the Fountain of
Sparks (2001) and Life Starts Here (2002), along with the singles Stifled Man
Casino and Total Exposure in 2001.
