Andrew Turner, born in England, is a British DJ, producer and musician known
professionally as Aim. After growing up with a jazz‑drumming father and running
a record shop, Turner began DJing in the North West rave scene and co‑hosted
club nights such as Yummy and Euphoria. His breakthrough came when he handed a
demo to Mark Rae, leading to a contract with Grand Central Records. In 1998 he
released the Downstate EP, followed by the The Force EP in 1999, and his debut
