Ahuva Ozeri was born on March 3, 1948, in Tel Aviv, was an Israeli singer-songwriter, musician, and composer. She began her career as a singer in Israel during the 1960s, also working as a songwriter and composer. She learned to play the bulbul tarang from Jewish-Indian musician Yehezkel Mezauker. Ozeri released her first album, Where Is the Soldier?, in 1975, focusing on the Yom Kippur War.
