Agostinho Dos Santos, born on April 25, 1932, in São Paulo, Brazil, was a
Brazilian singer and composer. He started his career singing at O Maravilhoso
club and later with Osmar Milani's orchestra. His early recordings included "O
Vendedor de laranjas" and "Meu benzinho", which gained popularity in Brazil. Dos
Santos' breakthrough came when he voiced the soundtrack of the 1959 film Orfeu
Negro, leading to international performances. He released several albums,
