Age of Love, an Italian–Belgian electronic music project, was formed in 1990 by
Bruno Sanchioni and Giuseppe Cherchia, known professionally as Pino d'Angiò. The
duo, who were also collaborators with Emmanuel Top under the name Brainwave,
began their work at Diki Studio in Mouscron, Belgium. Their debut release, The
Age of Love, a mini-CD (mcd) released on March 19, 1990, marked their
breakthrough moment and is considered one of the earliest trance music projects.
