Aerosmith, an American hard‑rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1970,
emerged from the collaboration of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey
Kramer, Brad Whitford, and Rick Dufay, with Steven Tyler as the lead vocalist
and Joe Perry on lead guitar. Their early exposure came through local venues and
a brief stint with the label T Records, where they released their debut single
