Adrián César Chauque Tacacho, born July 2, 1956, in Tarija, Bolivia, is a singer
and leader of the cumbia group Adrián y los Dados Negros. At age two, he moved
to Argentina with his family and in 1981, he formed the group with his brother
Santos. His breakthrough came with a performance at Fantástico Bailable in
Buenos Aires on May 6, 1985. He released his debut album Volveré in 1988,
followed by albums such as El Fenómeno (1989), El Gigante del Norte (1990). In
