Adrián Iaies, born on November 4, 1960, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a pianist
and composer known for blending Argentine music, particularly tango, with jazz
aesthetics. He received his first piano lessons from his mother and later
studied composition under Manolo Juárez. Iaies' career began to take shape as he
performed at various festivals, including Los 7 Lagos in Bariloche and the third
Argentinian-Brazilian Jazz Festival in New York (2000). His debut album Una
