Shawna Beesley, known as Adaline, was born on October 23, 1988, and is an
alternative-pop Canadian singer-songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario. She gained
international attention early in her career in 2009 after meeting Robert
Pattinson at a Juno Award party and posting about their encounter on Twitter.
