Abandon
Abandon, an American Christian rock band, was formed in San Antonio, Texas, and
consisted of brothers Josh Engler (lead vocals) and Justin Engler (guitar),
cousins Stevan Vela (lead guitar) and Dave Vela (drums), and bassist Bryan
Fowler. The group began performing worship music at their church in 2002 and
released the independent EP Ambush in 2005. After signing with ForeFront Records
in 2007, they issued the Abandon EP in 2009, whose single "Providence" peaked at
number 7 on R&R's Christian rock chart. Their studio albums Control (2011) and
