Aki Ville Yrjänä, better known by the stage name A. W. Yrjänä, is a Finnish
poet, singer, bassist, and primary songwriter of the rock band CMX born on July
30, 1967 in Kemi, Finland. He entered the music scene in the late 1980s,
releasing EPs such as Pahan voima -87 (1987) and Oma koloni (1988) with Terveet
Kädet, before producing and co-producing CMX albums including Rautakantele
(1995) and Aion (2003). He collaborated with Neljä baritonia on the single
"Pop-musiikkia" (1997) and co-composed a piece for the 150th anniversary of the
