A Friend in London was formed in 2005 in Vostrup, Denmark, by a group of
boarding school friends who later adopted the name A Friend in London. The
group’s early breakthrough came with the single "Thoughts of a Boheme" in 2005,
followed by "Shoot Me", which received airplay on Danish radio station P3. In
2008 the band won the European leg of the Bodog Million Dollar Battle of the
Bands, leading to tours in Canada and the United States. In 2011 they entered
the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with "New Tomorrow", written by Lise Cabble and
Jakob Glæsner, and secured the Danish preselectio...
