(A-Do)
Du Chengyi, known as A-do, was born on 11 March 1973 in Singapore and began his
career as a construction foreman before being discovered by producer Billy Koh
during a talent search. After signing with Ocean Butterflies Music, he released
his debut album, Darkness, in 2002, followed by Persist to the End the same
year, establishing his presence in Mandopop and earning him a nomination for
Best New Artist at the 14th Golden Melody Awards. Subsequent albums Act Wildly
(2007), There's Nothing to Be Afraid Of (2010), and I Shouldn't Have Hidden
