Rapper and singer-songwriter Artist Julius Dubose – born in New York City, New York on December 6, 1995 – is better known by his stage name A Boogie wit da Hoodie. As a teenager, he began getting into trouble with the law mainly through low-level drug dealing and, in an effort to break the cycle of his behavior, his parents shipped him off to Florida where he was enrolled at the performance-based Preparatory Academy in Fort Pierce.
