17:28 was a boy band from the Philippines active during the early 2000s. The
group consisted of Gian Magdangal, Jonard Yanzon, Chino Alfonso, and Joaquin
"Wackie" Valdes. They formed while in college and were discovered by producer
Vic Del Rosario at a live bar gig. The band gained recognition after
participating in the Jam Himig songwriting contest with their reinterpretation
of "Last Love Song" and winning the 8th Katha Music Awards for "Network I." In
2002, they released their self-titled debut album 17:28, featuring tracks like
