Omid 16B is a British-Iranian electronic music producer and disc jockey born as
Omid Nourizadeh on 1 January 1974 in Tehran. He achieved professional
recognition for a musical career that began after listening to rock music and
pirate radio in London. Nourizadeh achieved professional recognition for
founding the labels Alola and Disclosure and performing under the stage names
